The Board of Trustees has been formally constituted, bringing together individuals with backgrounds in nonprofit governance, finance, theology, and community development. The board's formation marks a critical milestone in CGA's journey from vision to institution.

The trustees have adopted a governance charter that sets out CGA's mission, values, decision-making processes, conflict-of-interest policies, and financial oversight mechanisms. Transparency and accountability to both donors and beneficiaries are at the core of every policy.

The board will convene quarterly to review program delivery, financial performance, and strategic direction. A full list of trustees will be published on our About page as we complete our legal registration.

The CGA charter defines the organization's legal structure, governance framework, mission scope, and operational principles. Drafting the charter was a meticulous process guided by legal counsel experienced in Lebanese civil society law.

Submission has been made to the Lebanese Ministry of Interior as part of the formal NGO registration process. Registration will grant CGA the legal standing required to officially receive donations, sign contracts with implementation partners, and operate as a recognized nonprofit entity in Lebanon.

We expect registration to be confirmed in the coming months. In the meantime, CGA is operating in full compliance with applicable regulations and is transparently documenting all activities and finances in preparation for full legal status.

To operate with the transparency and efficiency that donors and beneficiaries deserve, CGA has invested in purpose-built operational systems. Our donor platform allows individuals to give securely online, receive instant receipts, and track the programs their gifts support.

On the aid side, our field coordination system will track every distribution: which family received what, when, and confirmed by whom. This creates an auditable trail from donation to delivery — something rarely seen in the Lebanese humanitarian space.

Our accounting and financial reporting infrastructure is integrated with Zoho Books, allowing real-time financial visibility for the board and preparing CGA for donor reporting and eventual external audit. All systems are cloud-based, secure, and designed to scale as our operations grow.
