No Lebanese Christian Family Should Go to Bed Hungry
Lebanon's economic collapse has pushed families who were once middle class into severe food insecurity. Our program ensures they receive dignified, consistent nutritional support every month.

Why This Program Exists
Since Lebanon's economic collapse in 2019, the average family has lost over 80% of their purchasing power. The Lebanese pound β once pegged to the dollar β has lost more than 90% of its value. What cost $10 in 2019 now costs the equivalent of $100 in local wages.
For Lebanon's Christian communities β many of whom are elderly, widowed, or on fixed incomes β this has been catastrophic. Our field teams have documented families skipping meals, eating only bread for days, and going without protein for weeks at a time.
Our Food Security Program distributes monthly food baskets filled with staples: rice, oil, lentils, canned goods, sugar, and seasonal vegetables. We source locally where possible to support Lebanese farmers and ensure freshness. Every basket is tracked and signed for β we know exactly who receives what.
Our Approach
How Your Donation Is Used
- 1
Partner churches and local leaders identify the most vulnerable families in their communities through a vetting process.
- 2
Our Lebanon field coordinator verifies each family's situation with a home visit before they are enrolled in the program.
- 3
Monthly food baskets are assembled and delivered β either to the family home or through a community distribution point.
- 4
Families are reassessed every quarter to ensure aid is reaching those who still need it most, and to identify any new families in crisis.
- 5
All distributions are documented with photos and signed receipts, which are shared with donors in our quarterly impact report.
